How FFLTEES Works
Most clothing is made first and sold later. Produced in bulk, in standard sizes, with the hope that it will fit someone.
We work the other way around.
At FFLTEES, your garment doesn’t exist until you order it. Your measurements come first. The garment follows.
Here’s what happens between placing your order and receiving your new piece.

Choose Your Piece
Start by choosing your garment: a Custom T-Shirt, Sweatshirt, Pants or Shorts.
Select your preferred colour and, for T-shirts, choose your fabric.
Every detail begins with your preferences.
Enter Your Measurements
At FFLTEES, you can provide your body measurements or use the measurements of a garment you already own and love.
Using an existing garment?
Lay it flat, follow our measurement diagrams and enter each value. A garment you already enjoy wearing is a useful reference for the fit you prefer: how loose, how long and how you like it to sit on your body.
Using your body measurements?
Enter your measurements and our system calculates the necessary ease allowance to create a comfortable garment. When you use measurements from an existing garment, those measurements are used as your reference without automatically adding the same allowance.
Either way, you’re in control of how your clothes fit.
The Algorithm Builds Your Pattern
This is where FFLTEES takes a different approach.
Our algorithm transforms your measurements into an individual cutting pattern, the technical blueprint used to produce your garment.
It considers your measurements, the selected fabric and the garment’s construction to define the proportions of your piece.
No standard size chart. No predefined fit. A pattern created around your measurements.
Made in Portugal
Once your pattern is ready, production begins in northern Portugal.
Every garment goes through a series of carefully managed steps:
- Cutting. The fabric is cut according to your individual pattern.
- Sewing. Experienced hands assemble your garment, seam by seam.
- Quality control. Each piece is inspected before moving to the next stage.
- Pre-washing. Your garment is washed after production to help minimise shrinkage after delivery.
- Finishing and packing. Your piece is pressed, folded and carefully packed before shipping.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does it take 4 to 5 weeks?
Because we don’t keep finished garments in stock.
Each piece is cut, sewn, inspected, pre-washed and finished after your order is placed.
This takes more time than picking an item from a warehouse, but it allows us to produce according to actual demand rather than manufacturing large quantities in advance.
Is custom clothing more expensive?
Our approach is different from mass production. Each garment is individually produced in Portugal, using carefully selected materials and a cutting pattern based on your measurements.
This means a different production cost compared to fast fashion, while offering a more accessible alternative to traditional bespoke tailoring.
What if I have never measured a garment before?
No experience is needed.
Our size guide explains each measurement with clear diagrams for every product. All you need is a measuring tape, a flat surface and a garment you already own. The process takes approximately five minutes.
Can I use my body measurements instead?
Yes.
You can enter your body measurements directly into our system.
Our algorithm then calculates the necessary ease allowance to translate those measurements into a garment pattern.
Alternatively, you can use the measurements of an existing garment if you prefer to replicate a fit you already know and like.
Both options allow you to create a piece based on your individual measurements.
